Meet Ellen

Hello! I am Ellen, a Registered Nurse partnering with Heart and Soul Nursing in the Denver metro area, including Morrison, Lakewood, Evergreen, and Littleton.

I’ve been working in elder care since 2008 and a nurse since 2014, bringing a unique breadth of experience to the clients I serve. My professional background spans critical care (CVICU), school nursing, mental health, brain injury rehabilitation, integrative medicine, and elder care.

I have a special passion for supporting those experiencing neurodegenerative conditions, blending conventional knowledge with integrative therapies to support brain health and quality of life. I have connections and resources in the Denver area to support the aging population with integrative care.

Beyond the hospital setting, my path has been deeply rooted in service and healing. I’ve volunteered in medical and community settings in Spain, Peru, and across the U.S., always guided by a deep curiosity about what truly supports healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Beyond Traditional Nursing

  • Studied herbal medicine.

  • Co-founded The German New Medicine Collective, a space dedicated to exploring the emotional and biological roots of disease.

  • Trained in Reiki, an energy healing modality.

  • Taught Human Design as a tool for self-understanding, and supported others in living more aligned, easeful lives.

  • Received my 500-hour certification as a yoga teacher trained in meditation, vinyasa and kundalini lineages. I bring the steadiness, embodiment, and breath-awareness of these practices into every space I work in.

  • Studied permaculture and have learned how to grow food in sustainable ways.

  • Facilitated ketamine and psilocybin experiences for individuals and couples.

Over the past decade, I’ve…

While I am proud to be a nurse, I don’t define myself solely by that title.

I’m a grounded and well-rounded person—a lifelong student of the earth, a gardener, a lover of rhythm and ritual, and someone who values presence, connection, and curiosity. These qualities shape the way I show up with clients: not just as a healthcare provider, but as a steady and compassionate resource in a world—and a medical system—that can often feel overwhelming.

I consider myself a lifelong student of the earth—gardening, living seasonally, and staying attuned to the rhythms of the natural world. These practices deeply inform my work and presence as a nurse and caregiver.

I have had multiple family members go through the disease processes of dementia and Alzheimer’s, in addition to my years of work in the neurological rehabilitation arena.

I have firsthand experience with the impact on the family and the challenge of caring for people with these conditions.

This has fueled me to learn about lifestyle changes and integrative therapies that can prevent and support an improvement in symptoms.

Let’s Connect

Whether I’m working with older adults, individuals facing illness, or families seeking support, my goal is always the same: to walk alongside people in their healing journey with clarity, integrity, and heart.

If you’re a provider or family seeking trusted, integrative nursing support, I’d be honored to connect.
